More expensive than champagne then

We did actually look up the wine up and it sells for £27 a bottle so I guess a restaurant mark up will be 75? That said the drinks (limitless) were included as part of the package.

Are you seriously saying that 3 course meal with unlimited English sparkling wine cost £120?!

Yes. There was a range of drinks, including the Ridgeview, which were complimentary.

If that pudding had appeared at anywhere I'd intended to review on the restaurant thread it would have got the comment "pudding was a line of shit placed next to a thickened line of piss" and a demand for my money back.

Barber out.

We may have been playing, but at £120 for that, you've been played.

As I have mentioned, it was a special occasion. Was it worth 120, probably not. Did we have a great time....yes.

Glad that you made the most of it in spite of the seemingly extortionate pricing.

Three course meal in nice surroundings in a Premier League ground is certainly not going to be less than £50, but often a lot more.

Smash your way through booze too and it's sounds far from unreasonable to me.

But the food itself didn't even look nice and certainly wasn't presented nicely. Hope it all tasted better than it looked.

Custard aside, it looked and tasted fine. The only comparison you can make is with other mass catered events like weddings etc; and it compared well.

"quiche" ? "QUICHE" ???

It always has, and always will be called "Flan"

You can’t call it a flan if you’re charging 120 notes.

All fun aside, I hope you enjoyed it.
Mrs Oz and I, at least once a year do exactly the same sort of thing.
The experience is always good and makes it worth going to work for.
You can't take it with you, but you can leave the photos behind.

120 quid?!?

Are you sure it wasn't run by a team from The Apprentice just trying to get the most profit and we can laugh at them all for being shit when it is aired later this year

So, the main course was mustard glazed rump of Cornish lamb, courgette moussaka, wilted baby spinach, black olives and a light lamb jus.

I think it’s time for pudding......
