Chatting to a woman at work who has a friend who works for Just Eat, who are one of the England sponsors. She has a 12 y/o son who has been picked to be a mascot for the Final - they have been told to be at Wembley for 6am on Sunday.

Naturally the woman has no interest in football, but her boy is football mad. I mean bloody hell. What I wouldn't give.

14 hours before kick off  WTF?

I know, I wondered about that too. This Just Eat bint is apparently fairly high up though (she was head-hunted from a position at Google), so she may have some commercial commitments to tend to at Wembley before getting stuck in with the inevitable tour and all that. Surely not ALL the mascots have to turn up at that time, but I dunno.

I'd still be there with BELLS on though. I'm sure I could find something to amuse myself with.

Just read a dozen or so pages on Roma`s main forum , they are really disgusted at the penalty ( quite rightly imho , should have been overruled ) . Some suggest it will gee them up and some say their lads are better at diving than ours , so we may get pay back .

Better at diving than ours!
Not if we pick Kane Sterling Grealish.
Tom Daley wouldn,t get in that lineup.

Why would the Italian players give a flying **** about how their opposition got to the final? As for geeing them up, isn't being in the biggest game of their career enough for them? Good to see that football forums are full of numpties in whatever country they're based.

I actually still can’t believe it.

Joined England members after Euro 96, realising I’ve just watched a tournament in our own country and didn’t bother going to a game! Had been to plenty at Wembley but wanted to travel.
France 98 World Cup in Marseilles.
Germany 5-1 Munich. 2001
Sapporo, Japan 2002 beating Argentina.
South Africa v England 2003
Azerbaijan 2004
Paraguay and Portugal in Germany 2006.

Will all pale into insignificance this Sunday having managed to bag a ticket. Getting picked up about 11am and heading down to Wembley, so just got sort a bottle of bubbly and my England/Brighton Flag. Happy days!

Just thought a little insight into how they saw the game last night might be of curiosity to some , on the other hand maybe it wouldn`t !

It's around 4 at the moment with fees. I'm thinking Sunday will be optimal price time

Based on what you said about last night, it sounds like anyone rolling up to the stadium has a fair chance of slipping in regardless, given the chaos around ticketing and stewards who don't really care. The only downside is if you don't get in you're pretty much destined to watching the game on your phone on Wembley Way.

I will be disappointed if I don’t read your match day experience at Wembley on here by early Monday am

If she doesnt like footie, couldnt you not volunteer to take the young lad ("no need for you to wake up at 4am on a Sunday morning").

Take one for the team as the good samaritan you are!

And this crowd wowfootball tickets was £600 for a single SF ticket yesterday (+15-20% fees so £700 total). As a rule of thumb I watched wow from 4 days before the SF where a single ticket was £2200 then £1800 and progressively dropping to £600 on the day.

The final for a single last night was £4200 just after we won. this morning £4000 and now £3500 (all + 15-20% fees).... its still way too much but if it follows suit it will be cheaper nearer Sunday.

Still best hope is govt allowing a full capacity and those 30k tickets going on sale. I'm guessing that will be tomorrow or Saturday if at all. hoping to bag 3x cat3, but after the UEFA site shambles of the SF tickets i doubt i'll get lucky??

Just purchased tickets for final. So Scotland, Germany, Denmark and now Italy. I feel very lucky indeed.

Not having a go at you or your post, just saying that the online Roma fans are numpties if they think that last night’s game will have had any influence on their motivation to win a major international tournament on Sunday.

Besides, apart from a 20 min spell in the first half England bossed that game and more than deserved the win. The reason the Italian’s would be pissed off at the result is because England have far greater potential to beat them than Denmark.

England are slight favourites according to the bookies, but I suspect the Italian bookies would have it the other way round.

Can we have a whip round and start a petition for me to be the NSC representative mascot on Sunday? I’ll wear a full kit (wanker) and turn up at 5 am just to make sure I’m not late  I’d even hold Maguires hand and carry a ‘hello NSC’ placard…?
