Is this the most eagerly anticipated Palace fixture ever?....

Speroni ? Nowhere near as good as he use to be, he's average at this level now. I'd much rather TK,

Jedinak? :lolol: Bridcutt is class, one of the best defensive midfielders at this level, better than Jedinak.

Zaha? Probably will agree with this one BUT Buckley isn't far behind him ability wise at all.

Moritz? Vicente is the best player in the division when he's playing.

Murray? Can't really compare him to any of our strikers, he's a completely different to CMS and Barnes ???

I'm sure Palace would happily have, CMS, Buckley, Wayne Bridge, Bruno, TK, Bridcutt and El Abd any day.

I'm sure Bridcutt is a very good defensive midfielder at this level. Jedinak is the best. Probably the main reason we're top of the league. He is an absolutely incredible player who requires a new contract immediately before he is snapped up by a Premiership club. He is the most important player in our team.

We'd take all of those players, but not all for the first team. For the starting XI we'd have Buckley on the opposite wing to Wilf and Bridge. Maybe Bruno, haven't seen enough of him to comment. Would CMS get in over Murray? Absolutely not. Would El-Abd get in over Delaney? Same answer. We'll take Speroni over TK, thanks, and there is no chance we'd swap Jedinak for any midfielder at this level.

Oh completely.....just don't think we will! That said form goes out of the window when it comes to derby games so who knows.

Bumped in to a lad I used to play football with who follows Palace in the supermarket yesterday and he said it's already been agreed that we will be kept in for 20 mins after the game. No idea if that is true or not? If it is it's either going to be brilliant or awful. The 5-0 game was probably the most depressing police "kettle" (I believe that is new expression these days) I've ever been in.

I never understand it when they call it a "kettle" - surely the whole point of a kettle is that it is going to boil over?

Sorry but Delaney over El Abd? :lolol:

Why would Murray have to play instead of CMS, why couldn't they play together...

We've played 14 games since Delaney has signed and we've never lost.

We play with one striker. We play 4-2-3-1. We wouldn't change our formation for CMS...

Im looking forward to it quite abit . I felt the same, as many do on this thread , before last seasons game at your place and look what happened there .
It will be a very tight game imo and could go either way .

No, Palace are flying (unbeaten in 3 months, most of which are victories, (Murray) scoring for fun, great at home, new manager, have the greatest player in the world EVER!!) we are at best bumbling along (last minute winner against the bottom side, couldn't beat 10 men, have struggled to score, started to ship goals, picked up a few key injuries).

Yes I appreciate that is a glass half empty way of looking at it but I'm really not looking forward to it as I think we're going to get beat. Just want to get it out of the way.

This. If Palace don't get all 3 points it will be lost points for them we have nothing to lose as long as we don't do the coppell performance.

The pressure really is on them.

Surely your players will be under pressure to beat us for once ?

Pressure is always on the form team

Ive never been to one of our games when there isnt pressure to beat your fiercest rivals . Anyway youve hit a bit of form now so it should be good .

No. It's like it always has been unlike the original topic starter trying to big it up. If it was for delegation or promotion or play off then yes it would be but it isn't so just a normal game for me.

It's not the be all and end all if we don't beat you at your place, what is the be all and end all is you going up and us staying in the championship, but i don't see that happening.

Form goes out of the window in a derby match, it's who wants it more on the day.

Palace are obviously doing well at the moment and playing some good stuff. But I honestly believe that when we have a full strength side, playing to the best of our ability and with the bit of luck you need in games, that there is not a side in this league that can beat us, so its a win or draw for me.
If we turn up with the above, it should be the best Palace v Albion game for a long time.
I think it may come down to poor officials making dodgy decisions or a bit of diving for penalties etc. Either way I wish I was going.
