Worthing
I thought Elder was the poor man's Heskey (he can jump and wins headers). Savage is the poor man's Rougier.

I've yet to see Bas play a decent game when he has started, his impact seems to be as a sub in the last 20 minutes. When teams are tiring send on the big lanky awkward bloke to stir things up a bit. A role that's hardly worth breaking the bank for.

I think that if he didn't moonwalk or dye his hair blue a lot more fans would realise his limitations as a player. With a bit of luck Dick Knight's pride will force him to dig deep into his pockets and sign a decent striker in January and history will remember Bas as the clumsy bloke who did a moonwalk.

He's only in the team because the competition is so piss poor. Revell is probably the next best, and then we're onto Elder and Gatting.

I've been away this week, possibly missed the ins and outs, but I really wish Dick Knight would keep quiet on transfer dealings and contract negotiations.

I'm not saying he's in the wrong over this at all, but it hardly helps when he starts banging on about players hair styles and wishing the manager didn't pick certain players because they don't want to play for the club.

It's not your job to pick the team Dick, by publically commenting on who you think should be playing or not, you've just undermined your manager.

We know Dick loves the club, but from the outside it looks unusual for a chairmen to get so involved in commenting on playing matters in the press.

Not sure why he felt the need to comment on the fans love of the player either, just comes over in the press as him feeling a little jealous.

Very, very odd - keep quiet Dick on things like this.. PLEASE
