Personally I would be delighted if Murray returned, he is a very classy player, although a little suprised as he is very much in the Zamora/Hemed mould so I assumed we would be going for a quicker striker - a better Baldock.

Very interested to see what the crowd reaction would be to him coming back also? Would he get stick or support do we think?

At least Hemed has a fair few games with quality wingers to try and find the net.

If his drought continues with Kaz Knockaert and Murphy proving the ammunition he's done.
You can fairly safely say Murray would be like a kid at Christmas.

Wilson is the quicker striker. Glenn and Bobby to rotate alongside him. Class.

Please can we just MOVE ON!!

He is not Zamora, never will be...Doesn't deserve a place back at our club and at 33 shouldn't even be an option!

If we tried to sign any other 33 year old average/past it premier league striker who cant get a kick at Bournemouth we would be up in arms, just because his name is Murray doesn't change a thing! What an earth is he offering us that is any different. look to the future!

MOVE On and please WAKE UP! hope you enjoy your day.

Naylor reporting (from his sources) that he has learnt that the club (or from Bournemouth or Murray) have Murray as a target is not something anyone has reported on NSC in recent months. If so i've missed it.

The ongoing speculation and rumour that he could/should be part of Albion's plans is something thats been a NSC staple for every window for last 5 years. Not sure thats passed Naylor by has it or he would need to "catch on".

It has been widely known / said - since Bozza did a thread on the last window & people added snippets. The other day about 4 or 5 different posters said they'd 'heard' Murray wanted to come back. People have been saying for weeks that they think we'll get him based on rumours etc too. You're wrong.

Or GM now AND A.N.Other later ???

Not so possible because the loan windos closes mid March and I would think more chance of a 28 day loan now as we did with Darren Bent. Who is returning from injury and needs game time from the Premier? Not my money but for 28 days blow the cost within reason.

I'm still not sure how I feel about a potential Murray return. Purely on footballing terms (I care not about how or why he left), do we really need another 30+ year old striker? We've got one of them and he's doing blindingly well.

This. I've always felt you get behind the shirt no matter what.* But this would stick in the craw. It's easy enough to understand the realities of the game on an intellectual level, much less so to accept them on a visceral level when you've supported the club since you were a nipper and that lot up the road have been the baddies for that entire time.

*Up to a point, of course. The shirt wouldn't protect somebody who punched the ref and flipped the finger at the support as he stomped off the pitch, for example. But that seems unlikely.

I'll be pretty happy with the 32 (thirty two) year old that scored 30 goals in 42 games in the Championship 3 years ago. :)

Not sure where the info has come from - sounds like, from Bozza, it has come from GM's agent. One thing is for certain, the player definitely wants to come...

Can you make that Tweet a bit bigger please?

I can't quite make it out.

Howe's words were 'at this stage'.

A 93 day loan starting Feb 26 doesn't fall within that timeframe IMO.
