[Albion] Is there a delay until a ticket shows up on the Ticket Exchange?

Hi there, new member on the forum, and new brightonian (just over two years).

I got a regular ticket + a guest ticket for the Arsenal game, but need to assign the guest ticket to someone else as the original person can't come.

If I understand correctly, I need to release that guest ticket on the ticket exchange, and then immediately try and snap it up. So my question is: is there a delay from the moment I release that guest ticket until it shows up? Basically am I going to release it and then it'll show up randomly a few hours later and someone else will take it? 😓

And bonus points, am I actually going to be able to get that ticket with my same account since I've just released it, is it going to force me to recall the ticket release?

Thank you in advance!

If the exchange is open, ie the club have sold out (or just about sold out) of their own seats, then a ticket listed on the exchange will appear immediately.

Just far enough away from LDC
I decided to bounce this rather than start a new thread but surprised to see that ticket exchange for Bournemouth hasn't kicked in yet. There are still around 140 general tickets and 120 lounge tickets available which hopefully people will make a dent in today after the last 3 games.

It does feel, to me at least, as though we've reached a tipping point with the frustrations with travel for evening games, and more people simply can't be arsed with the hassle, whether you regard that to be real or perceived.

I added up the Chelsea tickets available just before kick-off because, bad fan alert, I wasn't able to go, and there were over 4,000 exchange tickets sitting unsold.

That simply wouldn't have happened before.

Why not buy the nearest ticket and sit in the vacant seat ? One of our group has done that recently

I’m looking to go tomorrow night but mainly lounge tickets and by the away end left. Looking to pick up a single in the North, if the exchange opens reckon there will be about 5000 available so would be able to pick where I want. If not debating trying a lounge for the first time but not sure it is worth the money.

I’ve got a friend (general football fan) who wants to join me in the north stand tomorrow for a social but it’s sold out. We’re waiting for ticket exchange to open but he wont be going if TE doesn’t open. Surely with less than 48 hours to go just open it up?
