I've not been there for years, and was thinking of mincing along there tonight with the missus for a bahjee or two. Any recent experiences of this place the good folk of NSC would like to divulge ?

I am, quite literally, all ears. :)

Are you talking about the Indian Cottage? Because if you are, then it is highly recommended. Plus my old mates dad runs it, we used to go in there after a heavy night drinking for a free take-away when he was feeling generous.

Does Abdul still own it ? I've not run into him for a while. I have a feeling it's not quite as good as it used to be.

Last time I checked he still does. One of the best restaurants in Shoreham.

Probably, but there's not an awful lot of competition. I had one take-away from the Millan and wasn't too impressed, although others gave it rave reviews. Never tried the Sharjah in Southwick, but it's supposed to be good. I wouldn't use any of the other Indian take-aways in Shoreham.

Last time I went there wasn't overly impressed, ordered a Korai (supposed to be served sizzling) came out luke warm as if it hadn't been given enough time in the microwave. Not been back since.

Mince along to the Indiana in Church Road chap, won't go wrong there.

Was in there a few weeks ago. It wasn't bad, bit dated inside. The food was perfectly acceptable, nothing to rave about but did a job

Been there a few times in the past couple of months and had a nice meal each time.
If I ever fancy a curry out, I go there.

Indiana is quite nice, I've been there a couple of times. I have a slight alterier motive in doing the Shoreham mince tonight though, as I fancie a couple of cask ales at the Lazy Toad beforehand.

The remarks so far are moderately encouraging, cheers peeps.

Went there when I used to live in Shoreham and thought it was OK but pretty average, both the Rajah in Southwick and the Millan Tandoori oposite Southlands Hospital are better

That place still got any staff? I saw in the local rag a few weeks ago that the place had been raided, a whole bunch of illegals rounded up and deported.

Not forgetting that you have to take your own booze as it is unlicensed.
