I do find it utterly amazing that any Premier League club considers Will Hughes of Premier League level. Can’t stand that albino bloke that plays for them.
That's because he's champions' league level you plonker.I do find it utterly amazing that any Premier League club considers Will Hughes of Premier League level.
It’s nothing compared to the games in the 70s , when there was lots of agro , it’s like going to the theatre these days compared to the old daysIt’s a bit of a throwback, tribal and a bit of aggro, but it’s all a bit panto compared to going to games years ago.
It’s my daughter’s favourite fixture, she loves all the theatre around it.
Agreed. The fairweather fans deciding to watch on TV because the can't handle a little jeopardy in a game and some panto. Let's be honest, if they came, they probably wouldn't contribute to the atmosphere and would leave on 80mins anyways..! For me, it is the first fixture I look for when they are released. A fixture with history to it.It is, but 1500 season ticket holders not showing up is pathetic. Yes yes, i know some will have good reasons. But a lot won't. Flakey fanbase.
Failed a fitness test….mines on so 1502..only the third league game missed at the Amex….treble guttedI’ve been asked to fly out for work tomorrow at fairly short notice so mine will be going on later, making it 1501.
I can’t lie, I’m gutted and relieved in equal measure. It manages to be my favourite and least favourite game of the season equally somehow, which I know sounds mental but perhaps understandable too.
Get well soon….Failed a fitness test….mines on so 1502..onky the third league game missed at the Amex….treble gutted
Same re the arthritis, this weather is a bastard for itI hate Palace games because the drunken aggression is still there, and some from our own fans to each other.
Sorry, I know it’s old age, but I can’t cope with it, so have put our tickets on the exchange, which have already sold. I can watch at home, on the tv, behind a cushion, and not get barged or sworn at.
I also don’t get too cold, having to take painkillers for my arthritis.
I‘m not looking for sympathy, just being realistic.
Thanks….face (surgery close to an eye)…all looks a bit messy at mo and I wouldn’t want to scare the spotty away lotGet well soon….
I’ll forgive you if you can confirm there is a deputy ESU cameraman in your absence.Failed a fitness test….mines on so 1502..only the third league game missed at the Amex….treble gutted
Dam…..I really don’t need an excuse to pull that ticket off the exchange ,but you’ve given me one …..must resist …must resistI’ll forgive you if you can confirm there is a deputy ESU cameraman in your absence.
Potter didn’t beat Palace ever. One of the few upsides of the pandemic was we didn’t have to sit through the lockdown game where we absolutely battered them and they won it with basically the last kick
Working otherwise I’d have loved to have gone…….(I still might….)…..All things being equal, ie setting aside "awkward" kick-off times / holiday season etc, is Palace the least attractive / least in-demand game of the season?
I ask having checked the ticketing site and, only adding up very roughly, there are in excess of 1,500 tickets available to buy on the ticket exchange.
Is the supposed hassle factor just so great that a load of people just can't be arsed?
Makes perfect sense. The aggro and the potential pain of defeat all make it a game to dread but the payoff when it all comes together? That 4-1 earlier this year was joyous.I’ve been asked to fly out for work tomorrow at fairly short notice so mine will be going on later, making it 1501.
