If she is, this is what she about the incinerator in Newhaven

Lewes councillor Marina Pepper said: "This is a complete sham and I can't say I'm surprised.

"If I was living in Newhaven now I would be wondering how I found myself living in this hell on earth, where the Government doesn't listen to the people.

"This is the end result of lazy economic and environmental policies that puts the health of Newhaven residents at risk. But the battle is not over and I would urge people to keep fighting."

NOW YOU KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE PEPPER, WHEN PEOPLE DON'T LISTEN TO YOU.

JUST LIKE WHEN YOU LOT @ LDC DON'T LISTEN TO PUBLIC VIEWS OF TAX PAYERS IN YOUR AREA WHO WANT A STADIUM.

A STADIUM THAT PROMOTES HEALTH, FITNESS AND CREATES JOBS FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Yes she is. At first she used to say she wasn't opposed as such - but we weren't going to get it as it "broke all government planning rules". (This was before the 2nd enquiry) She also said that instead of being cross at LDC and FPC we should be cross at Knight and Perry for getting our hopes up when they both knew that Falmer wasn't a possibility. When the 2nd enquiry found in our favor she became more anti - especially in her private pronouncements on football in general and Brighton fans in particular.

She is also one of the LDC councillors behind the "Let's string it out as long as possible and hope the club go bust or give up" policy.

The stadium is nothing to do with Lewes as it's not being built on their land, only the coach park!!!!

Can someone please explain to me why we need a coach park in that particular location - why can't we scrub round a few car parking spaces in the uni and put it there?

High up on the South Downs.
She's a bullshitting LibDem who lives cut off from reality in a world of cosy neo-1960s hippy self-expression and niceness.

If you say om enough times and use the right herbal remedies, the need for things like incinerators will go away.

It doesn't matter Nige-remove the coach park from the application and they'd still be objecting. It has nothing to do with facilities, health benefits, local economic benefits, helping the thickos of East Brighton, etc., etc.

It is all about a bunch of snobs acting in their typical selfish manner. They wouldn't object to a 50 storey building on the site if it was a f***ing opera house....

As for Marina Baker...she should be thrown in the stagnant pond with weights around her neck.

No! I've seen pictures of her bush when she was younger and if those eyebrows are anything to go by it's going to be like a frigging jungle down below thanks to the ravages of time.....

:mushy: Bet he used her beaver as the template for his beard.

Marina does not support the stadium. She tries to hide her opposition by not actually answering straight questions and wandering off into tangents about needing to observe planning law. Whatever that is. However, she's clearly concerned that if she broke these apparently unbreakable (if mysterious) laws, she'd be banged up in the illegally constructed bus shelter at Falmer. And arrested.

But she does send luv and kisses to anyone who emails her on the subject. Bless!

Yeh, I understand that, but what I mean is if we don't plan to put anything on that bit of ground, they would not have anything over us, so we would not have to be putting up with these aresholes.

But I suppose that is just too easy!

Too easy....they aren't worried about the little piece of LDC the coach park will occupy-their objections are about preserving the jewel in the crown piece of AONB that is currently lost amongst all of the traffic noise, Uni buildings, railway lines and hoardes of unwashed, out of town stoodents.

Basically, they are a bunch of cunts.

She is a nasty piece of work. I have witnessed her calling someone a racist Nazi just because he didn't want a hotel in Saltdean used for 100's of asylum seekers.

Whether the bloke was right or wrong, I thought people had freedom of speech and his views did not make him a racist or a nazi.

Would you trust a face like that?

I would say ' the photo didn't get her good side' - but frankly it doesn't seem like there is one!
