Lewes DC gave planning permission for Glyndebourne.
As it happens - an excellent decision that delivered one of the world's great buildings to a locality near me.
Glyndebourne is the largest load-bearing brick building in the world built since the end of WW2 - an engineering masterpiece.
And it's great source of local employment, bring all sorts of economic benefits to the area.
What LDC don't like is football. They have no problem with the principle of major development in the AONB. That's just an excuse to hide their hatred of football.
