The stadium is nothing to do with Lewes as it's not being built on their land, only the coach park!!!!

That's what REALLY pisses me off - the last three years of LDC bollocks has actually only been down to a bloody coach park, not the stadium itself. FFS

I know I shouldnt, be how do we know the taxpayers of Lewes want a stadium? there has been no referendum or anything, therefore until the local elections, we have no idea what the people of lewes think....we know what albion fans who live in lewes think!!!

but conversely, do we know that council taxpayers in Lewes wished their council to spend their revenues protesting about a development outside their council's jurisdiction?

Lewes DC gave planning permission for Glyndebourne.

As it happens - an excellent decision that delivered one of the world's great buildings to a locality near me.

Glyndebourne is the largest load-bearing brick building in the world built since the end of WW2 - an engineering masterpiece.

And it's great source of local employment, bring all sorts of economic benefits to the area.

What LDC don't like is football. They have no problem with the principle of major development in the AONB. That's just an excuse to hide their hatred of football.

It isn't just the coach park though is it?

They are against the whole application so even if the coach park wasn't part of the plans the elitist fuckwits would be doing exactly what they have been doing. It is all about it being a football stadium and nothing more.
