First bit really is just a joke between GB and myself following posts earlier in a week ..second is just referring to that most posts regarding politics on here are predictable as they represent an entrenched view …and that links into the first bit …clear as mud now?

now i get it!

the bit i don't get is why you keep opening these threads, read them, and then post, "i'm bored of this" :lolol:

Please stop me if I'm wrong, but it seems the only people still holding out that he's not are the hard left and the "anyone but Labour" mob, neither of which are a surprise.

dont forget there were a number of Tory voters that joined, to vote for Corbyn as they thought it would be funny.

Why don’t some people get it?

We are never, ever, ever getting socialist government. Ever.

Please try and understand this. People will not and have not and never will vote for it.

Unlikely in the foreseeable future. Though Corbyn did get a very good number of seats in his first election, so I see why there are plenty still banging this drum.

But I agree with your general point.

I’d like a socialist government, but I recognise that this is wholly unlikely, so rather than have a tantrum about this, the question I then ask is “what is the best government for this country which is realistically on offer?” The answer is surely a Labour government under Sir Keir Starmer. The thought process continues, will I make this more or less likely by sniping at him from the sidelines? Answer = less likely. Which means that the best thing I can do for myself and for my country is offer Sir Keir my unconditional support. I invite others who would ideally like a government with left wing values to do the same.

I agree that the Corbyn version of socialism isn’t universally popular. That’s why the likes of JRG want to impose it on people. At the same time, there is no point in having a left of centre party in permanent opposition. You might as well have a dictatorship.

Keir offers the best chance of that party coming to power and people are beginning to realise that. The absolute cluster***k Truss et al are making of government is helping.

You don't get it do you?

England won't vote for a socialist Govt - see Corbyn

They will vote for a centre left Party - see Blair

I guess you'd rather keep the Tory Party in Govt?

What I wrote (only, you were succinct :lolol:)

New Labour.

<snip>

Mmmmm....which labour?

And the amusing post resonates with the rubric of New Labour how?

I thought you were reasonably sensible but that's one of the most idiotic posts I have ever seen! Anyway, we can all play this game. Here you go:

Is the right answer.
