I find that unbelievable if true. I know we are the 7th biggest exporter (France 6th) Which is unbelievable in itself bur I just can't believe we manufacture more than Taiwan,Brazil, India, Russia to name but a few (and France for that matter)

Technically, can you actually have a "beach" holiday in Annecy or is it actually a "lakeside" holiday (without the shops)? Only asking. Now for a real beach you need to head to the SW coast. Moliets here we come again next year!!

I agree. I think it's my favourite country, I've been there five times in the last year and had a completely different trip each time. I've been snowboarding in the Alps, had a beach holiday in Annecy, hiking in the mountains and a historical trip to Normandy. Once I feel confident enough in my French language skills I will be moving out there.

The French were the last sucessful nation to invade and take over England as the Normans and help shape modern day England as we know it.

The dirty swines also sold the Exocet missles to the Argies who used them against us during the Falklands. Though after a few talks they did supply use with the codes nad homing device of each missle.
