Gotta like the bit on White moving onto bigger and better things than little old Brighton.

...followed up with how Leeds would have been a huge move for him.

that was the quote I was thinking of. Cock Womble.

Don't get me started on "And It's Live!" his desperate attempt to come up with a catch phrase.

Anyone got a spare box of Kleenex tissues (other brands available) for MT, as I think he's run out w@nking over Chelsea.

Apologies for crudeness

I’m so glad someone has raised this, I thought it was just me. Really tired, cliched commentary with no real depth of current knowledge

Is he the **** who said Ben White would go on to better things than Brighton and kept banging on about what he did at Leeds? Shoot the fecker

To be fair to Tyler, he was the only one of any of them on the Sky team tonight who actually had any sort of a concept that we were even playing and what we we'd been doing.

He felt it appropriate to tell us it was his birthday today to which Smith implied that we should be grateful that he was doing the commentary. Bloody hell, he’s a professional and we all have to work on our birthdays. Then he changed the mood by mentioning it “used to be Ray Wilkins’ (RIP) birthday”. I thought it still is.

The quote I liked was on 48 minutes when it was 1-0 to Chelsea: "This match is by no means done and dusted".

What game in the Prem IS done and dusted at 1-0 with 42 minutes still to go?!?

Awful commentator. His lack of any kind of reaction when major things happen a game is almost unbelievable at times, I couldn't even tell Van Dijk's header against Leeds had gone in until about 5 seconds after the fact with his lack of any kind of enthusiasm paired with a lack of fans to celebrate the goal - I just assumed it had gone wide. Monotone dinousaur, I have no idea how he's still in the job.

Didn't realise he was 74! Even 'Motty' retired before then, and he was well past his sell-by date.

Come on. The reference to March Haring through was a classic. Mainly because Alan Smith had no clue about the reference to a March Hare.

I dont mind him. Had plenty of nice things to say about Brighton and wasnt obsessed about the fancy schmancy Chelsea side

swear I heard him say earlier that Ben White will move on to a bigger club, Leeds continue to be interested...

He said something like I’m sure he’ll move on soon and maybe even a bigger move than Leeds (or words to that effect). Feeding the Leeds’ arrogance and egos and very disrespectful to us, who he’s just signed a 4 year deal with. Not good!
