Smith’s dreary and boring delivery of every word and phrase really grates on me.
Tyler is almost in Alan Partridge territory with some of the nonsense he spouts.
I’m sure he said something about one of the defenders to the effect of “... he’s one of the premier league’s smiling centre backs...”.
OK then.
No way to speak of a commentating legend, on his birthday of all days too. Have some respect.

75, though? Perhaps it's time for him to step down and let someone younger have a go.
Given the way Sky are shedding white over 50's men I am surprised he's still there to be honest, but I like the familiarity of him. I can't think of an outstanding young commentator I'd like to replace him?
Amongst the very current Premier League protocols, the very first of them is that during the current restrictions no-one over 70 is allowed to enter a Premier League stadium.
I've had independent verification of this being applied stringently this week. Are Sky able to insist on their septuagenarian commentators being given access ?
With older commentators like Tyler who started off when clubs like Leeds were in their heyday the Yorkshire club are given an immediate free pass towards Premiership respectability, the sort of respect it would take the Albion a decade to earn despite Leeds having been in the Championship or worse for the last 16 years. The same would happen if Derby, Forest, Sheff Wed or Sunderland got promoted.
Upstarts like Brighton or Bournemouth are treated like a stranger appearing in your local pub.
