No, it doesn’t look great.

And the “young lads out having fun” excuse is a bit thin. They’re 28-30 not 18-20. Time they grew up.

It’s not the end of the world; they’re not drunk driving, maiming people in a brawl or masturbating in front of a mother and daughter, but it looks stupid and irresponsible.

I will be 63 in a couple of weeks, if I acted my age, I wouldn't be living my life.
Good to see them having a laugh, “Life’s a gas” Bolan said so

O k... I accept that my indignation is not shared by everyone..... that’s ok .
I thought that this trip was “warm weather training “ not a company jolly. I ask:
How will this help us climb the league table?
Is having a night out the answer to our problems on the pitch?

What the hell is the point of this winter break anyway.... the Championship and lower leagues play on , why can’t we?

Shut up yourself Clapham.

OMFG, lads on a works do have a bit of fun and you're throwing up roadblocks, what a bell end. Love the Gammon pejorative, fallen to the SJW ****-speak level. You are a tool my friend. Inhaling from a balloon is kids stuff. Or are you going to suggest it's now a 'gateway drug'? I can remember doing this at school in science class. Get a life for god sake man.

Yeah.

Lads lads lads.

Perhaps you’d have a different perspective if you had kids who looks up to Albion players as role models.

Or perhaps not....

I'm unsure and I'm over 40.

I'd be a tad more worried if they were snorting cocaine or if gang rape were involved.

Any chance you could construct a couple of sentences without a) crappy parlance, i.e. snowflake, gammon, bell end etc b) insults.

You have summed it up inadvertently yourself. Sucking helium or N2O from a balloon IS kids stuff - these are grown ups (allegedly) - kids stuff sums it up nicely...

I think I might have warned my kids against looking up to footballers as role models. Sadly neither of mine had any interest in the Albion and were casual observers of teams better than we were at the time. So it wasn’t an issue.

Sanctimonious prick. I have kids, they make informed choices, know the difference between right and wrong and most importantly the know when someone is being a dick for a laugh. You don't. I pity your kids if you have any you utter prick. Now go to the trauma room and curl up in the fetal position you bell-end.

You certainly don't want any pricks when you're handing round the balloons...

Do you honestly think that a manager will tell his players to go out, let their hair down and partake in recreational drugs (other than a couple of beers, ie not enough to get hammered)!!

Did I say he said that?
Is that what these players have really done?

You think it's ok if the instruction was "go out have a good time but don't get wasted, as we have training tomorrow"
Then this video shows they are well within those type of instructions.

Why on earth would I do that on a football forum, it's not the U.N Mr666.

And i'll think you'll find 'Gammon' being thrown around by someone else, not me, hence my 'bell-end/prick' response.

I was well aware of my use of 'kids stuff' so not inadvertent. Suggesting that this point oozed out somewhere in the conversation by accident is a very arrogant base line you've set. Do you enjoy playing with glass beads as well?

Without reading the story, I assume the headline must be "Brighton players on team bonding night out doing perfectly legal activity that is less harmful than drinking"?

I'm sure there won't be a load of old dullards commenting that they are furious that football players are daring to have a good time while in a relegation battle? And I bet nobody will have mentioned how much money these footballers earn.

It's so good that we live on a world where people don't constantly make knee-jerk reactions and offer ill-informed opinions on subjects they have no real knowledge in.

The style of football we play relies on confidence and players playing without fear.
There has been a worrying return of players under-performing during the big matches.
The players haven't been able to adapt on the pitch, when things aren't going our way,

Maybe Potter thinks the players problem is more mental than physical.
Maybe this warm weather training is based on getting their heads right for the next 12 games.
Maybe relaxing with your team mates is part of the plan.

Maybe not but either way, Potter will deal with it.
