Yep. It seperated them. It was not the border though, the Romans 'owned' lands north too, but the wall was built in the best location, strategically speaking.

Anyone know if someone who is born elsewhere but gets British Citizenship can ever call themselves (on an official document or job application etc.) English, Welsh, Scottish or N. Irish or can they only ever be 'British'?
