Don’t know what some seem to think Pedro should have done? He’s running full pelt I don’t know where else he can go?
He could have slowed down, or broken his step - the ball was gone.
He could have not jumped up at Walton, he was nowhere near the ball.

And if it was purely accidental, he could at least have stopped and seen how he was straight away instead of a few minutes later.

There was no malice, they both went shoulder to shoulder . . . . Why the keeper decided to clutch his head I dont know . . . . I suppose a yellow is reasonable, Keepers are protected and some people aren't allowed to be too competitive.

A masterclass in shitehousery tonight.

My Velts highlights were when he kicked the thug Delap up in the air in the first half and then took the dive in the 2nd to get the bully boy a yellow. He was so cross and rattled, he eventually got subbed off!

The tackle that saved JPVH’s bacon first half, lovely interplay with Rutter second half taking the p out of Ipswich …. 80 yards upfield!

Definitely wound them up, bad losers started bringing Velts and other players down, killing the game.

East Anglia 0 - Brighton 6 (and I’m sure no Norwich or Ipswich fans would mind their teams being amalgamated in this way)
Champions of East Anglia - you'll never sing that.

Or maybe we can now claim to be the Pride of Anglia?

Reminds me of that time we were the best team in North London, a couple of seasons ago.

It he doesn’t jump he’s in huge amounts of trouble. Would have been very nasty.

Also, their players hardly make anything of it, which tells a story .

Watch the replay head on - you'll see Walton got quite a bit of whiplash. Although he wasn't hit in the head, his head jerked quite a lot.
