Good game. Bland first half but upped the tempo In the 2nd half as expected. Turned the screws and got it done efficiently.. agreed with El-Abd on MOTM Veltman. Excellent performance (again) and smashing piss boiling.

I genuinely believe that FH was trying to break the Ipswich deep block by being so turgid in the 1st half.

As I suspected, Ipswich were far less disciplined defensively in the 2nd because they thought they had a chance going forward.

This is either genius or madness. Chapeau either way.

My Velts highlights were when he kicked the thug Delap up in the air in the first half and then took the dive when touched in the 2nd to get the bully boy a yellow. Delap was so cross and rattled, he eventually got subbed off!
