I'm still toying with the idea of getting one of these new Iphones on July 11th.

Already have an Itouch and I love it, but now that the Internet bit has gotten a bit faster (3G) i'm tempted to give it a go.

I don't make many calls per month so I will probably go for the PAYG version.

Anyone else considering? :)

I cant see the appeal of an iPhone, to me it's another thing to carry around. How has the iPhone improved your life?

it allows you to leave your iPod at home when travelling to work or just about !!!

I'm very tempted now that they have sorted the 3G and GPS out on it, I currently have a contract on a TyTn II HTC handset which is a cracking phone but I have requested an upgrade price from O2, if its decent I will get one ..

they look cracking..

They still haven't allowed you to send MMS messages or record video and the camera is still shit which puts me right off. Apart form that everything else looks pukka. My N95 8Gb does everything the iPhone does plus all the things I mention so until they fix those issues I'll be sticking with my current phone.

Whatever your opinion on musical ringtones (and exactly what other types of ringtone are there?) the fact that a phone crossed with an mp3 player didn't have the ability to use mp3's as ringtones was a complete joke being as every other phone on the market is perfectly capable, even those with no aspirations to double up as an mp3 player.

Nope it is not but its not a deal clincher haivng touch screen for me, The only thing the iphone wins on is the web browsing which is totally awesome on the iPhone it has to be said but there is no way I can do without a decent camera on my phone having got used to it. IF they had bothered with sorting the camera that I'd be getting one for definite but thats such a big thing they have missed out on.

I can't beleive you are thinking about getting rid of a TYTNII for an iPhone, the TYTNII is a far far better phone.

I want everything on one device, especially at this time of year walking around town with my iPod and TyTn really is a pain.. Across the board the iPhone II does this better than any HTC device IMO

They're going to be £99 OR FREE on the higher tarrifs (45 and 75 quid a month).

I've got an old one so I can upgrade for £99 and carry on my contract.

Take it from me, if you can live without MMS and bluetoothing pics etc to your mates.

BUY ONE!! they are AMAZING

Trust me. Get an iPhone. They are entirely customisable, you can get pretty much anything you want on there.
