Trossard to come on with 2 mins plus added

Edit still waiting........10 seconds left and he’s on....headed the ball....FT

True but its great to see that he's seen as next in, considering he's up against Mertens & De Bryune for a place in the team behind Lukaku. Normally you would have Eden Hazard in the mix also but it doesn't sound like he's going to be competing any time soon. Mertens is 33 now so it looks like Trossard could have a big role to play in the Euros this summer for a team that will probably go deep into the competition. Great to see that he's potentially ahead of Carrasco, Doku, Januzaj & Praet.

Will hopefully keep him motivated for a strong finish to the season with us!

Both Molumby and Connolly were poor last night. I think that Molumby made a mistake going to Preston - I don't think the loan there is helping him - he arrived just as Neil's tenure as manager was going into terminal decline.

However, if White leaves Brighton this summer, Potter could do worse that look at Darragh O'Shea. He has been very good for WBA this season and was impressive last night, not alone defensively but with his ability to pass the ball out of defence. He pinged some terrific passes forward during the game.

Former Brighton u23 player Anders Dreyer scoring the winner vs French u21 in the u21 euros tonight, who are easily the favourites this year. Scored against Ajax in the Champions League earlier in the season too. Will we end up regretting selling him for (reported) £1m? Probably not.

Quality finish as well. Although perhaps the fact he was only introduced at the break suggests he shouldn't be over-hyped

Duffy and Molumby on the bench for ireland, Connolly gone home to Brighton with a calf injury :moo:

Not really related to those three, but think Luxembourg could make life difficult for ireland today.

Sure it would have been odds-on but still feel like a mug for not betting on under 2.5 in Ireland's game. Ireland no goals in three, Luxembourg the same in WCQ.

I watch a lot of shit international football every week and Ireland are possibly the worst side I've ever seen

Ireland’s national team has fallen far.

This was the team that played brilliantly in drawing with Germany at the 2002 WC. Imho some quality:
