Insulate Britain protests are purely symbolic to drive publicity. Still no match for Vote Leave in creating chaos...
Take it to court and try and find a jury willing to pass a guilty verdict..

Hey Ppf it could be worse, imagine if the protesters were foreign, not white or both?
Hope the paramedic doesn't get sacked

Before calling these people soap dodgers & lazy c*nts perhaps people need to look at the profiles of the people involved, many are older retired professional people who feel that climate change is a reality and needs to be reversed and one part of that is ensuring our homes are better insulated so that we use less power and generate less carbon dioxide.
I see comments about some of the unfortunate outcomes of the action e.g. the lady who had the stroke , I can't agree that outcome as acceptable nor what Richard Hallon said about the ambulance but equally when I hear the false sympathy from people who have supported this government when 120k+ people have died of COVID, many unnecessarily it puts it into perspective.
PPF posted a link to Farage talking about it, further down that link is an image of a retired doctor who was sprayed with ink this morning, below that there is a comment 'shame it wasn't battery acid'.
People might want to take a step back and reassess their thoughts and words, ask yourself the question do you believe that climate change is happening ? If you do and if you believe the problem needs to be solved sooner rather than later that protesting and getting maximum impact from that protest is important. This protest has achieved that it will now depend on government reaction and the spin put on it and what is view people take from it.
So let's go back to why is it happening , not what is happening . If the government took climate change seriously then there would be no need to protest.
Personally I want my grand child children and their children to live in a healthier world and part of that means reverting climate change.
The choice is yours.
