Not really. He missed one game due to a personal issue and then was injured against Arsenal.

Bad, but the silver lining was that if there were any suggestion that we could muddle through with the full back situation and not look to strengthen in January, that is now dead in the water.
Everyone will know we've got a few quid in the bank and desperate though

If he is still on 4 ahead of Asia cup would be worth mitoma getting a deliberate yellow then and serving ban whilst tournament is on

No it wouldn't. The cut off date is the half-way point (after Spurs for us) so he won't be suspended on his return, unless he picks up 10 yellows ahead of game 32 (I think). A deliberate yellow would make that suspension more likely, and it's a two game suspension.

How on earth is a "not so big" injury keeping someone out for 2 months?

No operation required just healing time and then 2 weeks back up to speed, watching the incident of the injury and his attempt at carrying on I'd suggest 2 months out is worse case scenario at least RDZ trays to tell it like it is rather than just say he's almost ready like previous managers.
