Moeen or Simster?
I think it's fairly obvious from the name of the stadium. Will the toss be crucial on this wicket? Mind you, in the last game we won the toss and still got hammered. Presume that Batty will revert to drinks waiter?
So, after 35 tests, I'm now sure Moeen Ali isn't good enough to make this side as either batsman or bowler.
If Rashid continues to outbowl him in this series, I'd like to see England try and find a proper batsman at number 5, Stokes 6, Bairstow 7, Woakes 8, Rashid 9 for series where only one spinner is needed.
Rashid is capable of batting far better in tests than we've seen so far. He has 10 first class hundreds to his name, more than competent enough for a Test Match Number 9.
Am I being immature in smirking at the stadium name?

I agree (but I know others won't). Barring average of 33 in tests. Bowling average of 39. Cook now appears to turn to Rashid more than Ali.

Second trivia question of the day
Who was the last England batsman to score a triple century and be dropped for the next test? (actually, he was first and last)
Presume it was a Player rather than a Gentleman back in the 1920's or 30's?
KP in 2012. He would have would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling text messages.
