Compare 1998 with now, same sort of time difference. The green belt will have been built on, roads will be far more congested, hardly any pubs left, shopping centres vacant and converted to housing and more people working remotely leading to city centre offices being empty.
The pubs factor is an interesting one, go back to 1998, and non alcoholic drinks stretched to Barbican and Kaliber, today we’ve got an array of non alcoholic products, James Bond not only endorses Heineken 00 they sell it in both the Rovers Return and The Woolpack arguably the two most ‘famous’ pubs in the UK?

Subliminal prohibition?

I wonder if my first Grandson by then aged 27 will be drinking any alcohol by then?

World population will drop from 8ish to about 5 billion, due to disease, famine and war.

Rich people in the west will have hidden on some Island somewhere and will have private armies to stop them being lynched by the starving masses

A better place than it is now, as it always is. Just like we are in a better place now than 50 years ago. Less poverty, better healthcare, quality of life augmented by technological advancements, less unnecessary death to treatable diseases in 3rd world, people living even longer lives, the untreatable becomes treatable and the still untreatable becomes more detectable, and of course VAR will be scrapped.
