Been trying to attach photo from my Samsung. Luddite ! Patio heaters now on everywhere. Quite a few armed military around as well as Carabiniere.

Mine has just turned up while I was reading this thread. (Surname 'G' although I think we've established that's not relevant. I was also pretty late filling in that form from the club.)

Too late to get it printed so I may just wing it with my phone on Thursday or see if my hotel in Rome can sort me out.

Biglietto here and I'm near the end of alphabet

Can’t remember which game in 1997 it was but remember walking away from a despondent Goldstone Ground thinking “that’s it. It’s all over. We can try our best to fight it but realistically we’re screwed. It’s all over.”. We’d lost on and off the pitch. No hope, no ground.

Except we hadn’t lost. Because today I just got an email with a PDF ticket attached for a fixture featuring that same football club which begins “Gentile Tifoso”.

My head is struggling to join those two things up, I must admit. If you’d said then what would transpire all these years later, well I’d have said you were crazy. It IS crazy.

Wonderful sentiment

Ps - it could’ve been almost any match in 1997

Just received mine.

And for all those wondering about the weather in Rome, the sun has set, the temperature has dropped and it's raining.

So definitely not shorts weather
