Bolton Crown Court heard that Okbazge's attack last Christmas occurred just weeks after allegations were made that asylum-seekers staying at the hotel had been harassing local schoolgirls by filming PE lessons at their high school causing parents to stopping their daughters from going out.

Maybe the point is, we can welcome more and more asylum seekers and refugees, but we will have to accept that some children may be raped, some children may be blown up at a pop concert, some gay people enjoying a picnic may be stabbed to death.

Of course the vast majority of those seeking asylum do behave themselves. Sadly though we have to live with the consequences of the small minority that don’t.

Turns out all you need to do is tell the Home Office you have friends / relatives to go to in London and they’ll happily drop you off.

but all that stuff could happen anyway? there are lots of people who would commit those crimes already here. in fact a lot of them are probably citizens. complete false dichotomy that allowing migrants in meaning comprising the safety of certain groups, you wouldn't say 'well we should keep all men away from women due to the fact that most sex attackers are men'.

Well, they’re not. They are publishing the findings of journalists. As opposed to say printing a poster of a queue of refugees in another country and passing it off as of they are in the U.K.

It’s honest journalism Vs scaremongering. People would be ignorant to claim Kurdish and Albanian people are not disproportionately involved in crime and that something needs to be done about it. Such as voting out the Tory’s and getting a government that might open up legitimate routes for refugees to use so they don’t have to fall victim to gangs.

You seem somewhat confused by this situation.

It is the current Government fuelling the Albanian and Iraqi people smuggling gangs by closing down every other way of applying for Asylum apart from getting on one of their boats and coming across the channel. This, in turn, ensures that the Government will maintain the votes of the xenophobic gammons who don't understand.

This has been explained numerous times on this thread now and obviously from some of the replies, I can see there's a number who have no understanding whatsoever of the situation. But to be perfectly frank Titanic, I didn't think you would be one of them

I'm sure we all hope things don't happen to ourselves and loved ones but I don't see why we have to simply accept what Jimmy Saville, Irish terrorist bombings killing children and neo-Nazi's bombing gay pubs did. And I'm really struggling to see what they have to do with Immigration Detention Centres
