It is and I wonder when the next poster who has absolutely nothing valid to add to the debate does it again ...... Ohsad when sexual assaults become a political football. makes it all pointless to discuss any further, no one really cares past the points they think they can score.
So according to Labour MP Diane Abbott a refugee in a Hotel learns that Suella Bravemen described the current "crisis" as an invasion and then feels compelled to rape a child .
I wonder what her explanation for this chap would be who's offense occurred last year

Asylum-seeker who raped a woman in Wigan town centre is jailed for nine years
Ablolom Okbazge, 27, was put behind bars for exploiting the “paralytic” victim's condition to lure her to a fire escape before subjecting her to an hour-long sex ordeal.
At the time the Eritrean national had been a resident of the Britannia Hotel in Standish which had been housing asylum-seekers under a Government scheme.
Bolton Crown Court heard that Okbazge's attack last Christmas occurred just weeks after allegations were made that asylum-seekers staying at the hotel had been harassing local schoolgirls by filming PE lessons at their high school causing parents to stopping their daughters from going out.

The MEN bomber was British.Maybe the point is, we can welcome more and more asylum seekers and refugees, but we will have to accept that some children may be raped, some children may be blown up at a pop concert, some gay people enjoying a picnic may be stabbed to death.
Of course the vast majority of those seeking asylum do behave themselves. Sadly though we have to live with the consequences of the small minority that don’t.
Let us just hope the bad stuff that we have to accept may well happen, happens to others and not ourselves or our own loved ones.
but all that stuff could happen anyway? there are lots of people who would commit those crimes already here. in fact a lot of them are probably citizens. complete false dichotomy that allowing migrants in meaning comprising the safety of certain groups, you wouldn't say 'well we should keep all men away from women due to the fact that most sex attackers are men'.Maybe the point is, we can welcome more and more asylum seekers and refugees, but we will have to accept that some children may be raped, some children may be blown up at a pop concert, some gay people enjoying a picnic may be stabbed to death.

Channel crossings: Albanian migrants recruited to the UK by gangs
Drug gangs recruit from migrant camps, the BBC is told, as it speaks to Albanians on both sides of the Channel.www.bbc.co.uk
Albanian drug gangs are using the migrant camps of northern France as a recruitment ground, offering to pay the passage of those prepared to work in the UK drugs industry on arrival, the BBC has been told.
Albanians account for around a third of the almost 40,000 people who have arrived in small boats so far this year, according to UK government figures.
Senior police and immigration officials on both sides of the Channel are worried by the growing role of Albanian middlemen in facilitating crossings.
The BBC interviewed Albanians who travelled to the French coast to make the Channel crossing to the UK in small boats.
They told us about the different people smuggling services on offer, with Albanians acting mainly as middlemen for other networks often run by Iraqi Kurds, who control the small boat operations.
We also travelled to Albania and saw how towns near the capital Tirana have been left almost empty, with many young Albanians being lured to France.
Well, they’re not. They are publishing the findings of journalists. As opposed to say printing a poster of a queue of refugees in another country and passing it off as of they are in the U.K.Channel crossings: Albanian migrants recruited to the UK by gangs

Using your logic, should we stop people from Gloucestershire moving to other parts of the country because of Fred and Rose West?Maybe the point is, we can welcome more and more asylum seekers and refugees, but we will have to accept that some children may be raped, some children may be blown up at a pop concert, some gay people enjoying a picnic may be stabbed to death.

You seem somewhat confused by this situation. Why are the BBC fueling the xenophobic gammons?

Ooh, is that an option?Using your logic, should we stop people from Gloucestershire moving to other parts of the country because of Fred and Rose West?
I'm sure we all hope things don't happen to ourselves and loved ones but I don't see why we have to simply accept what Jimmy Saville, Irish terrorist bombings killing children and neo-Nazi's bombing gay pubs did. And I'm really struggling to see what they have to do with Immigration Detention CentresMaybe the point is, we can welcome more and more asylum seekers and refugees, but we will have to accept that some children may be raped, some children may be blown up at a pop concert, some gay people enjoying a picnic may be stabbed to death.
