Rivet, I think you may have missed my point. I merely suggested that IF the situation bothered BG as much as it seems to have, perhaps he might have raised his concerns that day. I'm not jumping on him at all just commenting on the time lapse between events as I think you well know.

If you have just found out about an event, or have even thought about it and digested it over a week, before commenting. Why is that bad?

Sorry, but in the context of my reply to the post that is complete bollox. Read what bashldr wrote. He's fine with immigrants so long as they pay lots of tax, ergo put in to the pot. How many Brits do you think owe their employment to foreign companies without who they would not be putting in. Imagine a UK without EDF, Microsoft and Google, BMW etc. Want cheap insurance? How many London based reinsurers that make this possible are foreign owned? SWISS re, MUNICH Re, HANNOVER Re? That booming service industry that's driving the economy? Foreign hotel chains, McDonalds, Starbucks and foreign management consultancies like Capgemini.

Of course you COULD stop this by interfering in the free market. Are you a socialist?
Yeah we have a massive influx of german, americans and swiss immigrants flocking here don't we?

If I've missed the point then fair enough:)

I'm not saying it's bad. It just made me think about the time delay is all.

I realise that, it is others who have an attitude that I dont fully understand. The fall out from allowing to many immigrants to appease the EU is catastrophic to the majority of UK residents , obviously not all but it affects many.

Only by a mile. The point is that anyone who is paying tax and NI in to the benefit pot who works for a foreign owned company isn't strictly putting a pure British pound in. It hasn't been a British pot since that lovely Mrs Thatcher deregulated The City.

I think that's a load of nonsense...So if i worked at a bmw garage as a mechanic,my tax would go to germany?
I would suspect all employes tax and national insurance does go into the pot here...I would suspect a number of big company's i,e Starbucks and more would have a tax avoidance after salaries.

The NHS would collapse if it relied on 'British' workers.

How many of the Albion players do you want to chuck out of the country back to their European homes?

Hmmm, nearly 2/3rds of doctors struck off for misconduct in last 5 years were trained abroad.

http://www.hcrlaw.com/blog/ministers-say-nhs-foreign-doctors-must-speak-english/

Still hopefully there are British trained Doctors killing foreign patients in other countries health services, that will make us all feel better...........

No you plonker. Your salary would be paid by a German company net of PAYE. Whenever a wages run is done by a company they pay out of their accounts gross and then split it between your pay packet and the UK Government. The point being millions of pounds that is used to pay benefits is first paid in by foreigners.

Might as well re name this thread as a 'potential vote on standpoint'

Do you call yourself a European or a member of 'What's left of this Country', rUK, English, Welsh or NI

For me, and I am adamant about this even if I get slagged off..........1st I am English, 2nd I am British and third I am European

Whenever I see a thread like this it always gets me wondering by what amount the guardian outsells the daily mail in Brighton?
I've heard its a criminal offence to carry a copy of the mail in public, leading to some having to sneak out to the local newsagents and return with the unspeakable publication inside a copy of Razzle to avoid embarrassment

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong..........in Worthing, at least, it is now 2yrs to be added to the social housing list (whether you are indigenous ENGLISH/BRITISH or 'immigrants') even if you can prove your connection with the area through 100's of years of genealogy. So the same could be said of you........Stop preaching and learn the law.

I am just pointing out fact and have no desire to be on a definitive political side!................

Wrong Wrong Wrong

Read what I said you ingrate. I was referring to EEA/EU nationals not chavs in Worthing. Each local authority can set it's own criteris within the stated legislation.

Stop preaching and learn the law!

I don't give a f**k about EU law. Just justice for the indigenous population.
