And Richard Madeley asking you to "sleep on it".
Don't they have to be in a minimum number of days to get paid? So sleep on it probably means 'wait until tomorrow then you will get your fee'

No, unless they walk out.
There is no "prize" either, except the heightened possibility of a lucrative pantomime run and chat show on ITV3.
The move to Wales has actually hit ex-junglers bad. With no post catch-up show on ITV2 that nobody watched, there is no opportunity not to be watched which is sad.
Hopefully when they get back to Australia, the extras will re-convene because personally I find the cheeky humour of Joel Dommett the perfect late night wind down.
With costs, pandemic and carbon-footprint being so much more in focus nowadays - I'm not sure this show will ever return back to Australia.
A further spin-off I also heard was the funding received by the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust from ITV enabled some major renovations to be undertaken on the castle.
Shirley this will continue ...
Tch, thats a bummer. He was one of the few recognisable faces for me in there, and was coming across well. One of the few unintentional LOL moments for me was last night when he was having great difficulty trying to untie the knots to get a star, and complained that it was "just so tight and wet". I nearly snorted out a grolly at that one.
I was howling with laughter at that as my 10 year old daughter sat by not understanding what i found so funny. Thankfully she didn't ask either.
Richard Madeley has been forced to withdraw from this years show as his trip to the hospital meant he'd broken the shows secure covid bubble, he's feeling fine following his trip to the hospital and his withdrawl is not on medical grounds.
Shame he's had to leave as he would have been good TV, plenty of Accidental Partridge moments have been potentially lost now and he came across as quite a decent chap and was clearly willing to get stuck in with tasks etc.
Wading around in a tank of raw offal and fish guts can have that effect I suppose.
Comes across as a nice enough chap, hopefully he'll be ok.
Maybe it's me that's suspicious, but he would have known that going to hospital for a check up, broke the Covid bubble. He is feeling fine now.

Didn't watch this year, any idea what the viewing figures were for this series? I'm assuming that because of the multiple platforms and catchup all TV viewing figures are dropping although old favourites such as this draw relatively big numbers.Poor guest list, Madeley leaving was a disaster, i binned it off during the storm delay. The most disappointing series possibly ever.
First year I didn’t bother and Mrs Loz much to my surprise binned it about a week ago.
I want to see sunny weather and tasks in a tropical forest not cold wet “ celebrities “ sitting around and being nice to each other.
Yup. I too have missed the sights and sunshine of Oz. Celebs with full bellies and a 3 week love-in does not good viewing make. It's all got a bit "meh". I'm no real fan of Ant & Dec but to be fair, their piss-taking of Johnson was the highlight of the series for me.
