All the best cooks work by eye, hand, feel and taste. Measurements are for wimps :wink:
Thinking about this more, I do actually like following the recipe. I find it quite relaxing measuring everything out, chopping/preparing each ingredient and then once everything is prepped I start the cooking. I guess I might sling in a bit of extra chili or garlic or something but I generally follow the recipe to the letter.
