Would want Chris Cornell

Wouldnt want the lead singer of Wheatus. Can’t stand his voice (or the band) and I’m quite happy not knowing what the **** is called.

Male:

Billy Joel
Demis Roussos
Bobby Goldsboro

Female:

Eva Cassidy
Olivia Newton John
Rita Coolidge
Karen Carpenter
Celine Dion

It's difficult with men as I tend to be drawn to female singers and prefer the male voice in a more rock/pop genre

Want George Michael, Bryan Adams or Michael Bublé. Not gonna lie, but Matt Monroe could bid for a place too.

Not want Kelly Jones, the bint from T'Pau despite great band name or Robbie Williams.

Female voices,
Karen Carpenter

Left field choice.
Poly Styrene.
Lena Lovitch,
Kate Bush.

Definitely not

Whitney Houston,
Maria Carey.
Any of the diva, wailing women type of singer.

So what are the rules here then?
I thought we were only allowed one?

If we're allowed another, then I'm having Roy Cousins on the sub bench.

And if we're also allowed to change sex, then I'm having Babara Dane, and also, Radie Peat.

I think many people are making their own rules up, must admit I only posted one male vocalist then edited the post to also mention the voice I didn’t want to be saddled with.

Not sure why so many male posters want to sing in a women’s voice :lolol:

Well then, I'll add Van Morrison and Tina Turner then ;)
