If you only go to ONE Albion friendly, please make it the Reading game.

Had the pleasure of talking to Michel Kuipers earlier this week about his testimonial and it was so obvious how much he loves this club.

The way he spoke about the fans particularly was so refreshing. This man simply LIVED the Albion when he was here and still helps with Albion in the Community now.

He speaks about the Seagulls like a fan and was gutted to have not made it to Falmer.

If people are thinking about going to a friendly but don't know which one, make it the Reading game. Michel deserves his run-out at The Amex.

The Chelsea game may be a hint of what is to come for this great club, but the Reading game is a nod to what went before.

Anyone interested in reading the piece, it is here: Michel Kuipers speaks about his Amex dream and Albion love affair

I don't usually bother with friendlies but I will go to this one.

And I suggest all those put off by the price of Chelsea at the Amex and losing WSU should go to this one instead.

I agree entirely.

I'm unlikely to qualify for a Chelsea ticket anyways but I'd rather see Michel play for us one last time anyway.

Yep - would even choose this over a league game if I had too. Throughly deserved and he's worthy of the title - Albion Legend

I go to the Amex to watch the Albion first, opposition some way second, even if they're Liverpool/Man Utd/whoever. The idea that you'd pay £38 for a friendly just because the opposition is somebody big is bonkers to me, and I wouldn't be going even if MK's testimonial wasn't happening. It'll be the Reading game for me.

Will do the Chelsea & FDM game I think. Don't usually like testimonials, but more than deserved in the case of FDM.

If I still lived in the UK I'd love to go to that game. There aren't many players in the club's history more deserving of a testimonial.

Who could have imagined what a great career he was gonna have with us when he got subbed at half time in his 1st game at Southend? I really hope he gets a great and loud turnout, certainly deserves it.
