If you didn't go to the game

This team can NOT be accused of treating each game seriously.

For everyone who went yesterday, you have to KNOW you have seen a really competitive contest!

From all the games I've seen over the decades, that was indeed a memorable one.
Quality football, full concentration, two teams wanting to win, everyone focussed on stopping the opposition.

It was great :clap2:

If you read what i put i was having ago at the non going critics that never set foot in withdean but spend all the time slagging on here .Sir if you wish to call me the c- word then do it to my face not behind your keypad:p

On reflection I apologise for calling you a c**t, BUT, this holier than thou attitude of some albion fans is truly nausiating!

Over teh years football has cut into summer by making the season longer and start earlier.....meaning that some clubs struggle with holidays, other summer sports etc etc....

instead of having a go at fans on here, perhaps your "humour" would be best aimed at the thousands of albion fans who dont give a shit about NSC and the club for setting an unrealistic pricing policy.

just a thought

sorry, what? we were utter toss until we went to 4-4-2, if we'd played any deeper in the first half we would have needed oxygen,

and please enlighten me - "quality football"?????? come on.

granted, it was memorable, i had more than a tear in my eye at the end.

5000, bloody hell thats good going! How have you manage that?

Being ın my forties I suppose. In my twenties used to go to two games a week in Ankara... Ankragucu and Gencler Birligi. So in four years alone I did about 300 games.

To be honest that was an error... pressed the wrong key... should've been over 1000

Doesn't sound so good now does it

I imagine the club will start to bring in special offers for tickets as the season progresses.

Fair enough if you can't go due to family commitments, playing cricket, climbing the north face of Everest, etc but how many people moaning about prices would willingly spend £25 in the pub of an evening without thinking about it?

Go and support some else then that wins all the time, look at your post count says it all:thumbsup:

Dear Mr Sten

If you are going to criticise Mr Shiz for not attending the Theatre of Trees, I suggest you check his LOCATION rather than his post count.

Love

I would love to go with my wife and kids (as we are all albion fans) but seems that one match would set me back £81, .

No it wouldn't. not unless you are fussy about where you sit.

It would cost £48 for the four of you in the family stand if your kids are under 10, or £56 if they are over 10.

I take my two little lads to every home game, £25 for the three of us, £3 for a program, £1.50 for sweets. Job done.

If you sign them up to the Seagulls Club [costs £15] as well as a bag of goodies -t-shirt, ball, team photo, etc you get a voucher which you can exchange for two tickets [1 adult, 1 child] for either the Bristol rovers or Swindon home games.

the club could barely do more to attract families imo.

our crowds are ok anyway , anything above 5 k is ok. We didnt used to get many more than that in the Goldstone for most of the 90's.

3 - 4 k is our hardcore. The rest are governed by what the team is doing. Nothing to worry about. Friday should hit 6k I would of thought

Seconded

...and I believe you get a better atmosphere ina packed family stand. Very little moaning to be heard (thank God), the kiddies cheer all the time, there's the Burgess Hill massive  that ALWAYS keep the songs going. Gully's always around for photos, there's often penalties and sweets being given out. You very rarely hear swearing too. The loos are nearby which is also a bonus.

Last season we had those inflatable bangy things, face painting. Under the circumstances, it's difficult to see what more the club could do.

All round thumbs up

I hav'nt managed to get to a game this season yet and the rate it's going i'll be lucky to get to one anytime soon either, If that makes me a bad fan then fair enough but some things in life are more important than football.

I think the vast majority of people here wouldn't call you a bad fan, BB. Ignore the rest of 'em that do. You've done your fair share of watching piss-poor 0-0 draws on a wet Saturday in November.

I'll be back as soon as circumstances permit fella but in the mean time i'll have to rely on the people of NSC to keep me informed of how all things Albion are going.
