This . . . . . . The vast majority of us want and need a public transport system and infrastructure which isn't a Total embarrassment.

. . Every route in and out is painfully slow and congested.

The club have done f*** all to help IMO . . .but given we're a blot on the financial landscape these days its no suprise. Most of it's reliant on others so not in their direct control anyway.

Logistics management is though.

It ain't perfect but what do we honestly expect with 30k trying to get away! The consolation is that no other Premier League club provides free transport!

I'd be surprised if the club aren't looking at every option to (a) increase capacity; (b) improve the atmosphere; (c) improve public transport links, etc, etc. Things we KNOW they're doing include potentially creating a "singing section" (can't remember the details), looking at safe standing, building the "Fan Zone", etc. I know the latter doesn't directly address the above, but I'm sure it will result in a better spread of people arriving and leaving, reducing congestion at Falmer station, etc. I assume, for Sat 3pm kick offs, they will be showing both the 12.30 and 5.30pm matches on big screens.

Eventually, if we continue the trajectory we've been on for the past decade, there WILL be justification for added capacity. I realise this is a hugely challenging issue, but it would presumably offer an opportunity to improve the atmosphere.

Wel . . . no one would pay for it!

I get the numbers are at least double average at the Goldstone and it's in the middle of nowhere, by comparison, but the accessibility is still woeful.

Agree. 1st 2 paragraphs apply to the whole of the UK. Road & Rail.
For a few games last season, held back for a post match pint, and found, hour after, hundreds did the same.
With same problem.

We are out in sticks accessible by just 2 roads that you cant drop off and pick up. Little parking. Dont think PP would have been given without a travel scheme. We were told sum was added to STs towards travel. May not help because many have stopped using Seagull Travel because of increases

Improve travel to and from the ground, particularly for midweek fixtures.

The ground has had a number of significant capacity increases at a time we've lost bendy park and ride buses, a whole car park in Bennetts Field and a whole park and ride site at Mithras House. And more and more parking restrictions have been put in place in the local area near the stadium, whilst Southern have slowly reduced the amount of trains/carriages available and become more unreliable. All at a time that bike seats might get wet too!

Haven't seen the club do anything other than introduce a couple of park and rides that are only occasionally open and rarely at the same time.

A stadium where the smallest stand isn't the one where the singing section of home fans are situated.

I have no idea what they were they thinking when designing it.

Someone to regularly take decent free kicks and corners. Holding up an arm apparently without purpose beforehand is optional

In my own strange world
Get rid of that stupid f***ing police/security monstrosity above the North Stand and build another tier across to make more capacity and hopefully more noise in the North Stand....oh and Worcester sauce flavoured crisps..
