my biggest regret after leaving the marines, was that i didnt join the fire service.

i done numerous firefighting courses while i was in and loved every minute

When I was young my mother wanted me to bea politician or solicitor and about 5 years ago I considered going to college to study law but thought if a 28 year old cannot geta job doing that who would wanta 64 year old. If I could have my life over again I would have been a solicitor specalising in business rather than crime.

Ummm....I did toy with the idea of becoming a teacher for special needs teenagers but the salary didn't fit my expensive clothes and clubbing habit (yes, very selfish - sorry) so perhaps go back to that.

I'm a massive advocate of adult learning. Nobody is too old to go back to education imo

Even if you didn't end up working in the field, the learning process, and what you would gain from it personally would give you a massive sense of achievement.

But you could always work for yourself! Create the opportunity!
