Anyone else hoping he starts just to see what this is.... I won't be responsible for my actions.

...or...That De Zerbi is a terrific manager who has done easily enough to earn our trust on this matter
You absolutely are allowed to question him and his decisions...or...
De Zerbi is a terrifically exciting, but inflexible and flawed manager, who amongst a load of fantastic work, makes some questionable tactical calls and personnel selections.
If De Zerbi himself is able to see (and state) that he has got stuff wrong, I don't see why we are not also allowed to question some decisions.
While I agree, that back three absolutely murdered us, and since we've switched back to a back 4, we've won 1/1. He has his flaws. That De Zerbi is a terrific manager who has done easily enough to earn our trust on this matter
I’m guessing it is wetting the bedWhat are you planning on doing?
I don't want to pile on Steele.
He is unquestionbly better at the build up play than Bart.
But Bart's the future and Steele's weaknesses are becoming more obvious, game by game.
The repeated use of the back three is a far bigger concern than which keeper plays, tbh. With the available personnel it simply does not work. We have been terrible defensively every time we've played it - even including the 5-2 cup WIN at Sheffield United - when we were ripped apart down our left every time they attacked. While I agree, that back three absolutely murdered us, and since we've switched back to a back 4, we've won 1/1. I just wonder if Steele is playing more of the high risk high reward passes that RDZ wants him to playIs Steele better at build up play?
The assumption that his footwork is better than Bart's is flawed. Bart's passing stats are actually better. Bart's overall passing accuracy is 92.1%, Steele 83.6%.
That may be true, but Steele's ability to hold onto the ball until the very last second and make the pass, to beat the press, is exactly what RDZ wants him to do.Is Steele better at build up play?

I'm guessing your local supermarket does pick n mix, which is what RDZ is basically doingThe thing I have to do tomorrow night will be concluded by about 7.45pm. So frankly, everything hinges on the team news I am expecting to receive from @Frutos at 7pm. Bart = head home to follow the game; Steele = go to the supermarket and do the grocery shopping.
He said he’s in East Upper, so I suspect it’s loud tutting with the option of angrily waving a library cardAnyone else hoping he starts just to see what this is.
How is an inflexible manager so flexible with his tactics and selections? You're posts appear to be after less flexibility, not more? The repeated use of the back three is a far bigger concern than which keeper plays, tbh. So it's a bet at the bookies on Steel playing...hence off to the supermarket to buy lobster and bottles of champagne? The thing I have to do tomorrow night will be concluded by about 7.45pm. Its not digging him out mate, its being honest on ability.Agree. Digging players out, especially model pros that work hard, stay loyal etc. I mean sometimes they're not the best choice, but take the likes the Billy, who has bided his time patiently, even if those players come up short sometimes, they are worth their weight in gold to this football club.
I for one will be behind whatever XI RDZ decides to pick. I don't feel any animosity or levels of criticism to any players in our squad at present. They will need us 100% and it is often us as supporters who fall short more than they do tbh.
I'm going turn the big flame throwers at the start of the match on their side.Anyone else hoping he starts just to see what this is.
Yeah, as I said to someone else, stating 'I won't be responsible for my actions' to me is digging someone out.Its not digging him out mate, its being honest on ability.
Nobody will disagree with any of the points you make on his character, work ethhic or his overall positive impact on the squad, its purely ability on the football pitch and with the gloves not feet obviously.
And it isnt his fault if RDZ picks him and I dont doubt everybody would also then get behind him, cheer and hope for the best.
But I dont think its unreasonable not to talk about that which many see as obvious, on a Brighton fans forum or to happy clap and not be honest about it.
I said there might well be an harrumph and, quite possibly, some chuntering, muttering and an occasional grunt. I might also sigh.He said he’s in East Upper, so I suspect it’s loud tutting with the option of angrily waving a library card
