I’d like to see a list of the games, my interpretation is that RDZ has largely been protecting Bart as the younger keeper, even in that list above, Steele’s have all been away, and in the big ones or ones we’ve been resting players / absences.

Plus a lot of these results can’t be just put on the keeper either.
Bart

Liverpool
Arsenal
Everton x 2
Palace x 2
Forest x 2
Sheff Utd
Burnley
Bournemouth
Newcastle
West Ham

Steele
Luton x 2
City
United
wolves x 2
Villa
Fulham x 2
Chelsea
Spurs x2
Brentford
Sheff Utd
West Ham

Steele's obviously not a good enough goalkeeper. How many times does he have to show that before the penny will drop for the last few stragglers at the back?
Just so happens the manager, widely lauded as one of the best young managers in world football is one of the stragglers

But i'm sure you're correct and he's wrong

Or, as summised above, Bart is being protected and Steele is facing the trickier fixtures.

My suspicion would be he plays Bart tomorrow, a bit of a free hit now and a home game, and Steele has Anfield.
i don't think the protection argument holds up as well as you think it does.
Bart played against Liverpool, Newcastle, Arsenal, West ham.
Steele has played twice against Luton.

RDZ picks the keeper that he thinks will perform best against the specific opponent.

If we weren't almost certainly out of the competition, then yes I think he would.
But I think it's possible that he will look to put together a defensive unit for the rest of the season now.
I would like to see Bart - Pervis-Dunk JPVH- Veltman as often as possible for the rest of the season.

That really should be our default back 4. If we'd played that in Rome, we'd still be in the tie, IMO.
