I don't remember, (though it would be easy to forget) a keeper ever coming in for just one game this season. It's always been two, or sometimes three.

So if the pattern continues, Bart starts against Roma, Steele back in for the next league game

There's going to be a few on here who'll go back to supporting their north london clubs. Once there, they'll be able to act clueless to tactics and methods of play.
That's ok, we don't need people moaning about our managers selections, or any individuals at this club unless they are qualified to do so.
Obviously, people are entitled to their opinions no matter how wrong and deluded they are

@Bry Nylon has something to do tomorrow night, so RDZ HAS to play Steele in order that he can justify going to do it.
The thing I have to do tomorrow night will be concluded by about 7.45pm. So frankly, everything hinges on the team news I am expecting to receive from @Frutos at 7pm. Bart = head home to follow the game; Steele = go to the supermarket and do the grocery shopping.

That's what I've been doing game by game to be honest! I am stunned, genuinely stunned, RDZ keeps playing Steele despite his ability. It's such a blindspot.

I can't imagine how Bart feels about it either, he comes in and the team does well - then he's out of the team again and suddenly we've shipped 3/4 goals again. It's no coincidence we concede fewer goals with a quality keeper in the side. I suspect Rushworth will really fancy his chances of displacing Steele next season.

Agree. Digging players out, especially model pros that work hard, stay loyal etc. I mean sometimes they're not the best choice, but take the likes the Billy, who has bided his time patiently, even if those players come up short sometimes, they are worth their weight in gold to this football club.

I for one will be behind whatever XI RDZ decides to pick. I don't feel any animosity or levels of criticism to any players in our squad at present. They will need us 100% and it is often us as supporters who fall short more than they do tbh.

Come on lads, the game's up. We're past all this stuff, Steele's obviously not a good enough goalkeeper. How many times does he have to show that before the penny will drop for the last few stragglers at the back? I don't believe there's a single fan who doesn't get deflated seeing his name on the teamsheet now.

'Digging players out' is not the same as just preferring another to be selected.

If RDZ decided to leave a fit Lewis Dunk on the bench tomorrow, and played Webster instead - many people might question - or dare I say express disagreement with - that decision.

Its really no different at all.

Someone saying 'they're not sure what they will do' if a player is picked is digging them out.

Wanting a preferred starting XI, or having an opinion on selection is very different.
