its bound to happ, they followed us around in the seventies, eventually got to a cup final after us and now a few years on they can have their own fans united day

Yes which hopefully (you lose 4-0 against MU we only lose 1-0) will be better.
Have a job to beat 5-0 admittedly. Now doesn't that scoreline remind me of something.....

I would. Definatly. No hesitation.

To save a club, no matter what club, is a credit to football. Even Palarse, altough... they only just count as a club instead of an inbred farm trying to steal the ball for their centerpiece on their fold out caravan table...

Thats a very good question. And my answer, without hesitation, would be YES.

Of course they are scum (and contrary to popular belief in SE25, they are in fact well aware of this). But they are OUR scum, and we could not allow them to die. Who else could we belittle, ridicule and look down on ? Particularly once we have our UFO stadium.

If there is a Fans Utd day at Selhurst, then I will dust off my shitboots, take a deep breath away from the foul acrid stench of the Surrey slums, and venture into deepest darkest Croydon to lend our sad, unfortunate, deformed inbred urban pustules a supportive hand.

They DESERVE our charity. We're big enough to lend it.

Hear hear!

Wasn't Fans United was about stopping people trying to profit from football, changing memorandum's of association etc to benefit from the decline of football clubs? Outrage at this greed was the motivation for all those magnificent fans to traverse the country/continent to support our cause.

Isn't the Palace situation about Jordan being a bit skint due to the credit crunch and therefore entirely different? I'm not saying that I want Palace to go out of business, just pointing out that Fans United was driven by something entirely different. However, if it was aimed at that **** Noades who is at the heart of all their problems I would be well up for it.
Spot on. I think the concept of Fans Utd is all about clubs who've been shafted by their owners. Palace are just a shit club with a shit chairman who had ideas way above their station - we'll be having a Fans Utd for Pompey next. I suppose you could argue that Noades is partly/largely to blame for the deal he negotiated when he originally stepped down, but Noades is no Archer.

So whilst I DEFINITELY don't want them to vanish I think having a Fans Utd day for them is pushing it a bit.

I tought I was harsh on our no major trophy and never been champion of england like us friends. Jordon arranged buying the ground via a company that is now in administration. As such whilst more incompetant instead of money making like Archer, its still te same result. They are probably going to lose Selhurst and be gound sharing with no assets. Even I can see a reason be fans united with them just this once - tho like your hard core anti palace

Hasn't Tangoman shafted the fans anyway by mortgaging whatever is left just to get himself out of his own personal shit ?

Of course. Palace fans supported us at our Fans United and also in the Falmer campaign. And still support the REMF on an annual basis. Bit of a no-brainer innit?
