Give him the send off he deserves. He's been an inspiration and a loyal servant to the club. Ok so he wanted out before, so what? Can you blame him or any other ambitious footballer for looking around and feeling frustrated. The fact is that he, and many others, have commited themselves to BHA during these troubled times knowing that they are unlikely to ever run out at a new stadium. Some of our players have given the best part of their careers to us whilst playing in Gillingham or at a pony athletics stadium week in week out. They deserve a f***ing medal, not shitty childish insults from the likes of FG and co.

I thought he was a hero from the first game i saw him play- when he scored on his debut. Fantastic player and a definite legend. Scored the goal that won us the league too. Awesome.

albion hero. I used to think he felt he deserved a better set-up (and I couldn't argue with that), but in the last couple of years he had genuinely settled here and liked the place.

Best wishes Sir Dan.

Totally agree - He owes us nothing and has been the one constant in our club over the last five years. He's had the odd dodgy game but I think he's had the biggest impact at the club that I can remember of any player in the last 15 years or so (Zamora not withstabding), from a consistency point of view.

He deserves to play at a club with decent facilities and I for one will wish him all the best if he does go.

I would even go so far as to say the club should give him a testimonial one day. I hope he stays, but its looking unlikely.
Cheers DC.

I dont think anyone should question the loyalty he has shown in the time hes been with the club.
And I think he has proved to be one of the best skippers this club has ever had.
