Thought this was written only by McCartney with Stevie Wonder only singing on the song rather than any writing input.
But number 1 in both UK and USA, so lots of people actually liked the song (or the message)

Just googled it and yes, you're right, it was written by McCartney only. Still, a terrible, terrible song.

Thanks for the attempt! Loved the movie, the book and used to be fond of the subject matter way back when. But the music just doesn’t do it for me. Recently indulged in a 2 hours drive listening to the live 80’s Grateful Dead playlist on Spotify. Bliss for me, to each their own .
