How many more 50 over World Cups will there be?

Somethings got to give and these seems the least popular form of the game that's played internationally.

In the field
The vast majority of our team have played hardly any 50 over cricket in recent years. It is a format that is really neglected at both international and domestic level. I was reading yesterday that Ben Stokes hasn't played a domestic 50 over game for Durham since 2014!

Can the same not be said for most international teams? Can’t imagine Kohli turns up very often for a 50 over competition.

There’s no excuses, it’s just ineptitude and lack of leadership, Jos Buttler is a great player but a terrible captain in my opinion, we’ve seen all competition big scores are based on measured aggression, this England side seem unwilling to offer anything other than all out biffing

Regardless of what cricket format they have played, surely the ability to stay in and score some runs is a basic in every format. Our top order batters have been very poor at this in the World Cup.

Still, for most of them, it´s their last World Cup.

How’s he given that out from an incredibly blurry slo-mo ? (Not that it’s going to affect the result anyway)
No way is that out. The fielder knew it. He celebrated then went shy. Very surprised that was given.

50 over game used to be great here. Now it is played by 2nd teams while our internationals give priority to making money in the stupid hundred competition.
Yes totally agree.

Using cameras from the 1980's didn't exactly give a clear view.
