I am having to re-house my garden equipment into a new shed as the old stone shed that i have is being developed into additional living space. Can anyone recommoed a good make of shed that is extremely easy to erect, as i am useless at this kind of thing.

Thanks,

Rob.

sadly not, I went the B&Q route (which I wouldn't recommend) It didn't fit together properly so it has an ill-fitting door and several tubes of sealant and No more nails to keep it all together... maybe try a local garden centre and ask them to assemble it too ! ;)

I would bide my time for a few days....... there are some exceptional high winds due in the next 2-3 days, a shed may well turn up for free.

Tiger sheds are pretty sturdy and well made. Worth the extra in my experience.

I brought and assembled a 10x8 Apex shed last year from Tate at Flimwell & Frant.
50x50 tanalised timbers, 20 mm tanalised shiplac cladding, lined internally with building paper and 20mm flooring on 100x50 tanalised joists and 20 mm roofing panels with a tanalised 100x50 truss, so no sagging.
All delivered and all fixings, nails, glass for windows, hasp and staple and T hinges and heavy duty roofing grade felt.
Went together like a dream and would recommend them to anyone.
Cost £800, but you get what you pay for, and its quality.

Skinners sheds. Just purchased one. A bit expensive but made from Redwood it will last for ever. They have outlets at local garden centres (hailsham, lewes) and production and exhibition buildings at Ninfield. Also a website. Look them up.

Another thumbs up for Skinners Sheds. I think they will even put it up for you if the base is there. More expensive than the bog standard B&Q ones but quality is loads better. local company as well I think.

I can definitely recommend Skinners but as I said they are a wee bit pricey compared to some sheds you see on the internet. About a third more by my estimate.

I put down a concrete base. They turned up at 8:30AM and left at 9:45AM having erected the shed. They also modified it for me (added 2 planks to the height all round and put in a wider door) In all that added about 10% to the cost.

Is there anyone who will come, knock down and take away an aging, crumbling, holey, full of dodgy looking white mouldy powder stuff shed and put a new one up in it's place?

Yes. For money. And maybe a sandwich.

I'm also looking to buy a new shed. However, was thinking of one of those metal/plastic coated ones to save treating wood work in future.

However, the metal ones don't look very sturdy so not yet sure which way to go on this. Anybody had any experience of metal sheds?
