On a lighter note i thought i would just tell you all that i made scrambled eggs tonight succesfully
and it was all thanks to Jamie Oliver
I melted a large knob of butter in the frying pan
then i cracked 4 eggs into a bowl
and then added a pinch of salt and pepper
then beated them with a fork
then put them in the frying pan and let them cook

very nise it was to and i would advise anyone else to try it for themselves

and it may have just got me domesticated

Not content with having this board DRAGGED through the mud with a whole RACISM scandal you come on here, you're giving it all that and NOW Jamie Oliver has received CREDIT from an NSC poster.

BANG GOES YOUR REPUTATION

Didn't we teach him how to scramble eggs a few months ago? What a cheek, we spend time educating him and then he does it with Jamie. Ungrateful or what?
Maybe it was the poster who advised him to bung the eggs in a metal dish and bung it in the Microwave. He doesn't trust us.~~~~~

Oh for days gone by ,,,, still makes me laugh !

"Get 5 eggs.

Break into a bowl & add 5 dessert spoons of salt, a sprinkle of pepper and a teaspoon of ketchup.

Beat mix together using a fork.

put mixture in a metal container or dish

Microwave on HIGH for 10 minutes.

And you'll be scrambled! "

I had some marvellous scrambled eggs the other morning in Balham.

Cooked with a completely different process to mine, they were quite minimalist which a touch of cream. I imagine they were cooked very quickly, rather than with the slow constant attention I like to give mine.

The other major difference I noticed was the large lumps of egg. Usually this a sign of a chopped up omelete disaster, but to my surprise there were well seasoned fluffy clouds of joy that melted in the mouth.

The excitement in the kitchen would have been immense. The chef must have taken off them off the heat slightly under done and passed the eggy baton, via the waiter onto me with the perfect timing of an Olympic 4X100 metre gold winning team.

Best scrambled eggs - crack the eggs ( at least three ) into a pyrex bowl, add a dash of cream, some pepper amd heat over a pan of boiling water ( a bit like melting chocolate ). Stir every now and then - no burning - just moist fluffy scrambled eggs.

Worst scrambled eggs - in Cape Verde - they add cheese - yes CHEESE - what on earth do they think they're doing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
