You've got to be kidding! :lolol: El-Abd is incredibly awful, and that is why I love him. But we need to get real, we bang on about the team not being any good, and yet, we insist on players like El-Abd playing! He is the modern day Kerry Mayo, no ability, but we play the guy anyway, and it is fine at times, it gives us a laugh. But come on, if we want to be a better team, we have to play players with actual ability. El-Abd doesn't have any, he's fine at right back, but in the centre of midfield?! Are you kidding?!

That said, when he pulls on the shirt... :albion2:

Oh how us south stand season ticket holders loved Adam when two seasons ago he roundly told us all to f*** off and had to be dragged off the pitch. Or do we love the way that at least a dozen times a year he puts in a mindless career ending tackle. Or is it the way he nutures the hard man image but on more than one occasion has gone down like a sack of spuds in an attempt to con the ref and get an opposition player sent off.

Can't doubt his effort but too f***ing billy big balls but probably down to roid rage or too many E's scored from Macleod

Hahaha, I remember that! :clap2: That was classic, I think he did it in a more manly way than Matt Richards did though, to be fair.

Maybe we shouldn't be proud we turn on our own so often that they snap?....

In the field
I have my heart in my mouth every time he attempts a tackle in our penalty box. I just have visions of him hopelessly missing the ball and chopping down the opposition striker. You can draw comparisons between him and Phil Neville in that respect.

El-Abd is an animal, anyone who disagree's with me needs glasses, and a slap.
