Excuse my sincere ignorance, Is the vilification of gays really that bad these days,,,in Brighton? I suppose not being a gay I would not stumble accross it...

Can't really comment on Brighton as i don't live there, but for every heart warming story you hear a horror one to go along side it.

I was lucky, my old man wasn't fussed loved me for just being me, whereas my mum found it a lot harder to deal with at first, but that was mainly down to the ignorances she had about someone being gay. Her fears of me getting HIV then Aids, the homophobic abuse that i would suffer in her mind, frightened the life out of her, but she's seen me being truly happy for the first time in my life and she now just accepts it for being who i am.

On the other hand I can tell you tales of friends whose family have disowned them and claimed them to be dead rather than tell people they're gay. Others whose parents have known ever since they were a kid that they were gay and just accepted it without blinking.

I have done gay with 4 different women. Didn't really live up to the hype to be honest.

tbh cruising parks <insert outdoors place here> has never interested me.

Selhurst Park? I'm not sure you'd want that inserted anywhere. Full of disease, y'know.

And, as far as parks go, it's extremely uninteresting.

It really pisses me off. Because I'd quite like somewhere to go and shag strange random women who are there for nothing but precisely the same reason. There's nowhere like that - at least not since Club Barcelona closed down.

I still mourn its demise, Harvs.:(

You'd like the Funky Fish on a Saturday night matey - the girls aren't all 48 year olds in plastic boots and tinselly cowboy hats either. Not sure whether that's good or bad.
