1) The first half today we were a shambles. The defence returned to looking all over the place, and the midfield was anonymous. Lloyd did nothing.

2) However, Andrew still managed to have a Davies moment and sky the mother of all sitters. Fortunately, he redeemed himself with a cracking header - Davies take note.

3) I hope we haven't seen the last of Gary Hart in an Albion shirt, but if he's torn his hamstring then that might just be that.

4) Fraser - again, completely pointless. He contributes bugger all. Hope he doesn't get a contract.

5) Owusu - it's the sign of a good striker if you can have a shocker and still score. Sign him up.

6) Dicker - quiet first half, but sorted the midfield out after the break. Sign him up

7) Loft - new contract please. Lively, adventurous, good tackling - just don't let him near any more free kicks.

8) Davies - good effort near the end, but please can our fans stop arse licking him until he's done something? I'm sure he's a good player, but his finishing has been total shit since he got here. Just because he got slagged off at MK Dons, doesn't mean he needs a barrage of 'one Craig Davies' every time he breathes. For god sake, wait until he does something - one good game against the worst team in the league proves nothing. It's patronising above all else.

9) Next week. MASSIVE massive game. IF we stay up, I hope there are no laps of honours or any of that shit. I will be clapping Loft, Owusu, Hart, Dicker, Borrowdale, Fraser I suppose and Slade - they deserve the applause for dragging us out of this, the rest of them have been nothing short of a disgrace all season.

10) However, I could well see us cocking it up next week - nerves at Withdean...not good! Squeaky bum time all round....

11) The second half we looked like a proper footballing team, bar from a dodgy ten minute spell. Loft, Cox and Dicker worked well to create opportunities largely down the flanks - Owusu was unlucky with one well worked by Andrew, but the goal was definitely deserved.

12) Slade - I suppose needs a new contract whatever league we're in next year. Nobody better will touch us in League 2. I am not sure how far he could take us, but he deserves a chance after turning us into a unit with a chance of staying up, at the very least.

Get sung on trains, in nightclubs, and in cars, but rarely at the matches themselves!:jester:

mainly because up until recently he has never been involved to get sung at :jester:

Agree with most of that - well done!

Couple of things - I don't really agree with everyone saying Slade can only take us so far - he knows how to work within the means of a club and considering this is his biggest club there's no reason not to think his success might be relative.

Don't really understand how you can slate Fraser then say you'll be applauding him for saving us!

I thought Elphick was again fairly poor today - I worried about his form this season.

Oh right, Well i didn't go and a lift was on offer to pick me up at 4:20, which would have given us 3 hours and a bit to get there, so it was quite a reasonable question.

Yet, in the Hereford Pictures thread, you claimed you was in one.:shootself

Well IF we're in League 2 then his lack of form at getting teams promoted worries me. Not sure what our expectations in League 1 would be if we stay up but i think he'd probably be up to it....however, he seems more suited to this sort of 'battle'.

Thought Virgo was worse than Elphick today.

And although I think Fraser is hopeless, he is really to blame for us being down at this end of the league, that's what I was getting at - the rest of them don't deserve it.

I have a thought:

1) Why do you feel the need to arrange your thoughts into a list format?
2) What do the numbers mean, do they denote importance, rank, if not wouldn't bullet points be more suitable?
3) That's it.

1) Because it is easier for people to say 'i agree/disagree with point 4, rather than having to count the bullets'

2) bugger all

3)
