OK...for the Benefit of Bushy aka the only person who has lived in London...

Buzzer.... I dont give a **** what you think....

Ok Bushy?

And you have the temerity to claim UKIP and its supporters can't string a decent argument together ? Strangely it's exactly that type of attitude from the main parties for many years that is making people consider UKIP.

The problem UKIP have is that they are basically a party formed by disaffected Tories who are used to having their own way and don't like being pushed around by Jonny Foreigners. That, at least, is how they come across to me. And I find the rank hypocrisy they show of whining about lack of accountability quite staggering when this nation is built entirely around the inherent privilege of the head of state which trickles down the Bullingdon old boy network and so on. Why not address this first? An unelected, unaccountable head of state in this day and age?

As a consequence of this, they are alienating a massive core section of their support. If you read Bob Crow, he's massively anti EU for the same reasons that The Spanish and cunning fergus appear to be. But can you imagine Crow throwing his weight behind those old duffers? When on QT, Crow talks about the disaffected working class and big business using the common market in a way that exploits them without providing much benefit, you can see the UKIP rep's skin crawl on the same show - he doesn't like nasty common socialist moaning at his toff chums, but absolutely needs their support. And for the moment, UKIP just don't appeal to that kind of person.

It's always disappointing when someone does a cut and paste job of an out of context cliche. I imagine you think it's a clever bon mot as you bask in the reflected glory of someone else's comedy routine.

Sorry but this one is particularly stupid. This is why: Consider why the immigrants are getting the jobs. Perhaps the employers that are giving the jobs to immigrants over British people prefer that because the immigrants are easier to exploit because they

a) don't have the language skills
b) the contacts.
The bit about money doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

These are important points to consider. It's no coincidence that the overwhelming majority of zero hour contracts are for minimum wage jobs done by immigrants. I see these as a form of bonded slavery and are a particularly sinister development in the job market. These immigrants are exploited because there is no union representation, no collective bargaining, no idea of their statutory rights and no position to complain because of the precarious nature of their employment and immigrant status.

But hey, at least they're working and tough shit to the indigenous population who are too thick (your words - or rather George Carlin's words, you're just riding his coat-tails) to hold down these jobs for themselves.

Sod the fact that they are not getting the jobs because immigrants are easier to exploit, sod the fact that society is generally healthier when we don't leave those at the bottom of the pile to rot. Sod the fact that you hold a whole underclass with such contempt that you write them off as too thick without considering other factors such as poverty, opportunity, where and how they were educated. Sod the fact that the problem is exacerbated by the fact that the immigrants are forced to live in poor urban areas and thus directly competing with the indigenous underclass that you're having a good sneer at. Can you imagine the damage this does to social cohesion, race relations? Of course you can't or you wouldn't have posted that picture.

You pretend to be a left-wing social inclusivist but quite clearly you either lack the brains to claim that title or you are an arrogant piece of shit and a fraud.

Have to agree with this. Louis CK and Doug Stanhope both did almost the same routine and while I find them both very funny it has to be remembered they are playing it for laughs and both very clever people who realise that is a massive over-simplification of the subject and would probably find it daft that people are using their routines as an actual argument.

From what I have seen foreigners looking for work are being exploited to the same degree that we are getting shafted by employers looking for cheap labour.

Im quite literally astonished at the weakness of your replies , you come across like a teenager, and one at the lower end of the age spectrum at that , do you REALLY expect people to believe that the reason you wont engage buzzer in debate is the fact that ' you're working ' ?

In my experience union leaders (and I'm a union member) are as out of touch with the people they claim to represent as politicians are. Crow talks the talk, but is happy to trouser £145k a year on the back of his member's subs. Likes to keep his socialist credentials by living in a council house.

UKIP's policies collapse at the slightest hint of economic analysis, but people are still prepared to vote for them because they've had enough of the whoppers from the main parties, and don't want to consider themselves explicitly racist by voting for the low IQ brigade at the BNP.

A quarter of the voting public intend to put a X in the box for the UKIP candidate in the May elections. Current voting intentions for 2015 have them roughly 5% ahead of the LibDems.

Or are the only party who actively campaign for leaving the EU. You might not agree with leaving the EU but to summarise those that vote for UKIP as either disaffected main party voters or embarrassed racists is a little simplistic and blinkered.
