I've just taken the right turn at the end of my mums road and at about 5 mph and full on stacked sideways into the far kerb! No brakes, no steering, just a over a tonne of car on sheet ice... it's not fun Non main roads should be avoided at all costs tonight!

Easier said than done when you live nearly a mile off the main road, down the bottom of a hill. That was sheet ice all the way. And no sign of any gritters, despite being on a bus route.
