No idea why but I bought the programme today - first time since Withdean and the section from the fans serving in the Armed Forces was superb. I hope any servicemen and women reading this thread about the tribute will see how proud we are of them all.

Hard to imagine what his family must have been going through as they stood pitchside, but it would be nice to think that the tribute paid by over 27,000 people today might have brought them just the smallest crumb of comfort.

I'll be honest and say a tear rolled down my cheek,and fair play to the Blackburn fans as some of them looked like they had one to.A lot of their fans said it was the best tribute they h d ever been part of and Brighton should be proud of what they did today.
